otakukin are otherkin who beleive they are connected to anime or manga characters; for instance, I ran upon a livejournal of someone who professed to be reincarnated from Goku of Dragonball Z. his only reason for sustaining this beleif was that he dreamed (and daydreamed) without that universe.
