addendum: I also don't understand people who read hundreds of journals, but relatively few posts/comments. They read.. but have nothing to day? Vicarious living through voyeurism.

It's people who beleive they are bonded to, or reincarnated from anime characters (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=otakukin). Dragon Ball Z seems to be a popular choice of fixation.

Exactly why anyone would want to be any of the barely-developed, child-brained, badly written DBZ characters it beyond me.
