bluebeardhrm.. reviewing my previous posts, it's become apparent when when I'm pisses off, "shit" is my favorite word. :P hah.
my coworkers are noticing how quickly my manager advanced me.. two people today asked me why I was trained to do so much, after having only been there a few weeks. I guess I am doing pretty good... my mad telephone s/<177z are starting to resurface. I've been employing a tactic Ruby mentioned.. When a customer calls up in a huff about something stupid (which is 99% of irate customers), talk to them like a three year old. They start acting like an adult again pretty quick.
well, except when I'm already fed up with their attitudes. At those points, I finish their order or whatever they needed, them bitching the entire time, then end the call with some statement that makes clear exactly what they could have done to avoid the situation, thank them for calling, and hang up before they have a chance to bitch for the sheer purpose of being contrary. At least I finish the order. :P
