Louis and I are both sick with an unknown form of lung infection. yay.

memorial day weekend we're going to go to IDA and help repair tornado damage.

the job market sucks.

Eventually, I'l write about Beltaine.

I heard about the funk. That's why I bring my own paper plates. Not to be ugly, but... you know.

What happened at IDA? How bad was the damage?

I'm thinking that it's airborn; bringing one's own plates is still a good idea, though. I was seriously apalled when I found out this was the first year SMS has required visitors to wash their hands before dinner. Those girls need to learn a thing or two about health codes.

IDA was hit by a tornado.. The damage isn't serious serious, like, nobody died. There are many trees down though, and the gardens have all been ripped to shreds. They still have phone and electricity, and none of the buildings were seriously damaged -- there's a tree leaning against the porch of the back garden house, but that's it.

thursday, now.. I think the water level should probably be down enough that they can leave. From Sunday-Tuesday at least they were stuck there, because they couldn't get any vehicles out, and the nearest town is 30 minutes away.
