bluebeardTonight, I went with my parents to the China Buffet; the only buffet I've ever heard of that had a sushi bar.
That's right. Buffet sushi.
As I'm sure you're expecting, it wasn't very good. The usual fare of Chinese food was good, yes; the sushi was.. eh. All they had was shrimp.
Shrimp rolled and wrapped in seaweed. Shrimp with cucumber rolled in rice and then roe. Shrimp tails on rice pads.
You'd think, if they have the supplies availble, they'd go ahead and roll up some tobiko.. nope. Can't do it. They didn't do ebiten either, which was disappointing.
