HAHAHAHAHAH.

I just got banned from [livejournal.com profile] bodymods for disagreeing with the moderator.

Liverjournal kids sure are cute.

[edit] Even funnier, they baleeted the 'offensive' comments. Even cuter.

(oh, and [livejournal.com profile] readysteadystop.. since I know you're reading this: "septum is always fun and easy to hide - and a totally painless piercing, at that!" is a blanket statement. eat it.)

Silly boy, don't you know that moderators are ALWAYS right? That's the first rule of LJ.

Especially if they're predictably inane "I'm so tough" little punkettes who like blanket statements...someone needs to do some research if they're going to moderate a community on body mods.

It makes me queasy to hear someone refer to the septum as "always fun." Or any piercing as "fun," really.

(speaking as someone who's had their septum for nearly 2 decades now, and detests that suddenly every little emo/punk/goth/whatever-bot over 13 has one)

ooops, I ranted.

FTR- no one "thinks they're tough". we as mods of a very active community thrive on aiding people with problems or advice they may need in regards to body mods in general. not everyone is extremely knowledgable, but many people do have exteremely good advice and facts to back up the help they offer to others.

the fact is, we don't want drama in [livejournal.com profile] bodymods, and we're going to keep it that way. if someone starts assinine bullshit, they get removed; it's not because there is a disagreemant.

i also wasn't aware that having a septum piercing for "two decades" makes you better than everyone else with body mods, so thanks a whole basket of rainbows for clearing that up. :)

let's review the facts, shall we?

* you've been making snarky, drama-instigating remarks for months in not only [livejournal.com profile] bodymods, but [livejournal.com profile] bmezine as well.
* you poked your nose in other peoples' lives by commenting in the mod's personal journals.
* you "blaimed" [livejournal.com profile] readysteadystop for banning you because you disagreed.
* you complained (in this very post) that you were banned for childish reasons.
* you also had the audacity to call the mod's "childish", yet you're the only person causing drama and seeking attention by not only making this post and even mentioning the fact that you were banned on your god-damned info page.

now, if you didn't care that you were banned by a "kiddie", you wouldn't have a) made a post about it, b) contacted other mods with the same whiney drivel, and c) come off as a fucking 9 yr old throwing a tantrum in a Dairy Queen because they didn't have your favourite flavour of ice cream.

what's funny is, you're the same age as most of the mods in [livejournal.com profile] bodymods and you're causing "drama" on your own accord. good job, princess.

and btw, you were not banned for disagreeing with anyone. you were banned for causing drama and seeking attention. that is also why your comments were screened- no one needs to see your whine-fest, because frankly, nobody cares.

Making the statement that my own septum did hurt is not "seeking attention" or "causing drama". [livejournal.com profile] readysteadystop had her (?) little emotional blowup -- which you can't see because it's deleted now, nice way to document, eh? -- because a contrary position put her smug authority into question.

Telling someone that *any* piercing is "always fun" and "totally painless" is irresponsible, and somebody running a piercing community should know better.

Actually, all the mods can see the whole conversation between you two - it was NOT deleted, the comments were left screened. And I don't think what happened to you was particularly an exclusive-to-LJ event, either - go join IAM and have a snark at Shannon Larratt and see how long you last before you get TOS'ed. Funny thing about having a go at the owner of a community, you really don't have a lot of recourse when they decide they don't want you at their party any more.

Also? I'm not a "kiddie" either, I'm a professional piercer with almost twelve years of full-time experience, and I absolutely agree that septum piercings are pretty much painless if they're done correctly. With correct placement, they really don't hurt much at all, they only hurt if the piercer dings your cartilage.,

Okay, I'm going to respond to you once and only once, because it's still quite obvious you're trying to get as much attention as you can. I'm not going to argue with you, because it's pointless and, quite frankly, I'm not interested in a pissing contest with someone who seems to get off on such things.

The comments weren't deleted, they were screened. The other moderators can see them and they're saved for posterity. They're not visible to others, because there is no reason to bring attention to the situation. Drama is not needed in the community, nor is it welcome... which is exactly why you were banned.

You were already told why you were banned - [livejournal.com profile] totes_madchen and myself both covered it. She covered it quite thoroughly in the above comment, and I covered it in the comment you left in my personal journal). Just because you refuse to accept that as the reason doesn't make it any less the actual reason why you were banned. The other moderators agree with me on the matter.

If we went around banning everyone who disagreed with us, our community would be about half of the size that it is. It's the manner in which you disagreed. Snarky remarks are not constructive, nor are they informative. The majority of comments you've left in [livejournal.com profile] bodymods and [livejournal.com profile] bmezine over the last several months have been of a snarky and unconstructive nature. While snarky remarks are not against the rules, they become a nuisance when that's the ONLY thing that you contribute to the community.

I'm not sure what you're hoping to accomplish by bringing attention to the fact that you were banned, as well as going to people's personal journals and asking for an appeal of some sort when it very clearly says in the [livejournal.com profile] bodymods userinfo that if you have an issue, to go to [livejournal.com profile] bodymodsadmin. Nor do I care beyond the fact that it's just further proving that my decision was the correct one. Whatever it is you're hoping to accomplish, good luck on that, because I will no longer be party to it after this comment.

Personally, I find it pretty funny that you're calling me a "kiddie" and telling me to get off the internet when you're less than a year older than me and I'm not the one freaking out over being banned from a community. Move along. There are dozens of modification communities out there that are willing to put up with your crap.

Minds are not being changed on this situation, so I suggest you just drop it - or continue whining like a child whose ice cream was taken away... your choice. Either way, you are no longer welcome on [livejournal.com profile] bodymods, because you have nothing constructive to contribute and you have proved to be a drama-monger, even after being banned.

End of story.

P.S. - [livejournal.com profile] bodymods isn't solely a piercing community, it's a modification community. You'd know that if you actually bothered to pay attention to it, rather than just looking for ways to be snarky.

I'm looking at the post, and in the screened portion... hey guess what? There's messages that you and [livejournal.com profile] _madam_mina_ posted that are no longer there, neither public nor screened. They have been deleted.

No, I don't have a screencap. It's your word against mine on that one.

I'll point out that "kiddie" is not a reference to physical age. Thanks for not getting that.

The "drama" came about when you had an emotional outburst because I didn't phrase my disagreement in a way that licked your asshole. I don't lick assholes unless I'm having sex. If you just want people to be nice all the time, get the fuck off LJ.

The comments aren't deleted, I can see them grayed out because it's my post and the mods can see them because they are the mods.
