I talked to my sister this morning.. The insurance company decided that her car is, in fact, not totaled, so we're not going to go down to San Antonio anytime soon. Mom says we will in the upcoming months. I'm impatient. :P She still may get a new vehicle, but for other reasons; she's apparently increased her company's profits by 75% in the month she's worked there, and her boss says if she can make that 200% by the end of six months, he'll bonus her a new truck.

My userpic is now even less accurate.. Last night I grabbed a pair of scissors and the clippers, intent on monthly beard maintenance. What started as a bushy, longish Bluto-type goatee is now a stripe down the middle of my chin, about the same length and width as my forefinger. I like it.. I think it'll stay this way for a little while, at least.

My brother says he may be able to get me a job, doing e-mail support and installations for a web-based company that provides CGI scripts in Perl, and potentially working for them as a coder later on. That'd be neat.

And now, I go to visit my cousin.
