Mar. 29th, 2002 02:04 amwell, actually, today didn't turn out to be as long as it seemed this morning. I feel better after my mental spew this morning... it's been a long, long time since I allowed myself to let so much out at once (I didn't even begin to cover all the bases..).
I managed to get some more sleep from 10ish-noon. Woke up and started getting ready for work, and Paul stops by to get a change of clothes, which was nice 'cause I've hardly seen him lately.
dannahmal called right after I got out of the shower, just to let me know she was concerned. Thank you, Dannah. :) I would've talked more, but I was rushing to catch the bus.
As of this past Monday, I'm now trained to handle all products at work. That makes my job much, much better.. time passes quicker. I still grumble, but there's a lot more to think about when you're handling eight products instead of just one. They apparently love me there -- in my first couple days I was exceeding expectations (min 25 calls/ph, I'm doing 33, and max 2:10 calltime, I'm doing 1:45ish, meeting all of the required elements, and I sound just like the guy on the recordings which my manager loves) and I've only done better since, despite taking on all the other products. My manager also hinted that IT wants geeky-types from the floor with good stats, so we'll see where that goes in six months when I turn perm.
I did my Good Deed for the Day. On my way to lunch, some speedfreak slammed into a F350, which bounced and landed on it's side.. not pretty. I ran into the nearest place (why does burger king figure so prominently in my life?) and had them call 911. woo.
Got home tonight, checked my mail and all that... called Paul at Josh's and he said he was about to leave and come home... that was an hour ago.
In the interim, I've washed the rest of the bedclothes, fed the cats, mice, birds, and the dog, all of which are now content and quiet. yay.
