So, like, I struggle with my skin. Minor irritants like fleas and mosquitos can be a big deal; they swell and itch like a motherfucker. I get psoriasis on my hands, which I've recently gotten over a bout of. Often, I just plain itch for no reason.

Just when everything seems to be under control and just about all healed up, I get an infection in my eye. It's swollen, as is the lymph node by that ear.

Damnit.

Ech -- sorry to hear of your ailments. I hate that mess. I don't think it's as bad as yours, but once summer gets into full swing, my skin also tends to itch in all kinds of ways, practically until first frost -- bug bites that get out of hand, general itchiness, etc.(I don't suppose you get a rash underneath your ample busom too, do you?)
:)

Hope your eye gets better soon.

Are you allergic to your soap or laundry detergent?

it's possible. it's only been these last couple months that it's been an issue. I'm trying out different stuff to see.

I recommend Tide Free for laundry detergent, any Bounce that doesn't smell like flowers for fabric softener (if you use dryer sheets), and Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash (fragrance free, green lid) to use while you're experimenting.

we were using EcoVer, but square foods closed down. bleh. and the new square in cooper-young doesn't have house products at the moment, just the deli.

I love Tide Free. You can use the body wash whenever you feel itchy or even when you don't; it's a great product. There's oatmeal in it, so it really helps cut back on irritation.
