One positive result of being stomach-sick: I've apparently lost my soda addiction. Took a break just now, and got a Pepsi for the caffeine; realised halfway through drinking it that I really didn't want it.

During my first course of Interferon, I was not allowed to have caffeine. So I gave up Vanilla Cokes and drank only water. I lost 45 lbs., with no other changes in my diet. I'm still losing. I find now that any type of carbonated beverage, juice, etc. is too damned sweet.
