it's interesting how sometimes, when working long shifts and you're tired, fatigued, and caffeined-up, you begin to imagine that you're in some communist art piece glorifying the computer assembly line as as example of community farming, complete with foremans, dredges and shit-sweepers all laughing in unison at jokes noone's been listening to for several hours now. the fluorescent lights above your workbench become some skewed-face malicious moon-creature in geostationary orbit just outside your peripheral vision reminding you that no matter how much you'd rather be somewhere else both you and it are still there.

I'm sleepy and somewhat manic.

I think I'll turn the light off.

(hmm. I had hoped this would turn out more humorous. this entry makes me seem like I'm in a bad mood even though I'm really not.)
