Aug. 14th, 2006 02:06 pmThe closing date on the warehouse is mid-December. Louis wants to move to Nashville directly after that; he's already got work lined up. He says he would also like to have the house sold around that same time, or with a month or two after.
"The house" being the house I currently live in, the E-house, one of the two faerie houses in Memphis. It's possible it'll "stay in the family", but it's also possible it'll go byebye. Either way though, it won't be the same place.
Leaves me in a position, though: moving.. again! And, y'know, the "again" part isn't a big deal. I'm pretty much accustomed at this point to major life changes every other year. Heh.
The logical decision seems to be to find work in Nashville, to start late January-early February. I may have something lined up already; Just have to see if they actually have enough of a workload to take on another person. I'd split my time between working for money in Nashville, and working to build a house on Short Mountain. Oy. That's a lot of work, but I knew that, right?
I'm pretty much settled on that solution, though I have no idea where I'd live. I suppose I need to move from "settled" to "concrete" and actually seek out my options.
