work gripe

So, in order to take new clients, I have to answer my phone.

If I'm not at my desk, I can't answer the phone.

I've been away from my desk a lot lately, for various reasons.. so our numbers are down.

Now that our numbers are down, you want me to help in bankruptcy.. so I'll be away from my desk even more..

Which means the numbers are gonna stay where they're at.
