ink_ling and I found one on the sidewalk in front of our apartment. Both the mattress and frame seem new, except for one broken bolt that's gonna be very easy to fix. It's a smaller one, too, which is perfect.
Why in the world anyone would throw away a piece of furniture worth several hundred dollars I don't know, but whatever -- free for me, and now that room doesn't look so completely barren.
And now the TMI bit: Really, really hoping this next hour and a half go by quickly, as I'm cramping soemthing fierce and I really, really, really don't want that to happen here at the office.
