Weekend o' Fun

Yay.

Puck, Jared, Jason and I went to Short Mountain Sanctuary and IDA on whim.

Left Friday and made it to SMS about 3am, after getting lost and then getting stuck in knee-deep mud. We lucked out; the owner of the property happened to be awake and faerie-friendly, and he pulled us out.

Saturday, we all walked down to the rock house area, and Jason and I went on to the end of the valley. Went to IDA later and attended Simon's bar mitzvah, and hear the residents play, then back to SMS to bed.

Woke up Sunday to snow! Lots of it. Yes, we played in it. Puck got some pictures. Had breakfast, then back to IDA to deliver Tom the wine that Puck promised him. Jason and I went crawling around the bat caves, and I took him up to see the waterfall.

You know, the experience was far less dry than my writing. Heh.

Anyway, we had fun, and got the fuck out of dodge for awhile, and didn't tell anyone we were going.

It was nice.

It is to be noted that while writing this, I was simultaneously teaching Jerry how to get porn newsgroups.
