First day at a new job. Whee! It was interesting.

Mostly we just sat around, looked at projected screenshots of the ordering software, and listened to people repeat themselves about how to use it, even though it was insanely simple. Enter numbers, confirm selection, verify billing, click OK, hang up. That's it. I was kinda hoping we had web access at our terminals or -something- to provide input, but I suppose now I have a reason to finish reading Foundation.

I didn't have lunch, so by the time I got home at 6, I was exhausted. After talking to MSN again (another week, they say.. fuck msn, we're cancelling. :P), I lay down to take a nap.. and didn't wake up 'till 3:30. I have to get up at 5:30 anyway, so there's that.

I think today is the last day of 8-5 traiing, and then the regular schedule starts tomorrow.. which is fine by me, it means I'll be off tomorrow, work friday afternoon and get off at 8pm, and then off again saturday. yay. I can actually leave the house on weekends again. :P
